Tanya Tamburin is a fashion stylist with over 15 years of experience in styling for celebrities and media. Her work can be seen on the red carpet and in magazines such as Harper’s Bazaar, Rolling Stone, and Shape. Her creativity has been showcased on Saturday Night Live, the Grammy’s, Critic’s Choice Awards, and MTV Music Awards. She has worked with top agencies producing commercials for T-Mobile, Burger King, and Subaru.
Tanya Tamburin is noted for dressing some of the world’s most well-known celebrities including Victor Garber, Jaime Pressly, Fergie, and Michael J. Fox, among others. She was the driving fashion force behind Britney Spears and some of her most iconic looks and toured worldwide as the head of wardrobe/tour stylist for three of Britney’s most successful tours. Tanya has worked with such noted photographers as Robert Ascroft and Patrick Demarchelier. She currently styles the top Classical musicians in the world including Lang Lang, Aida Garifullina, Anne-Akiko Meyers, and crossover artist Jackie Evancho.
In April of 2003, Tanya launched her fashion label, Joey and T, with IMG Mercedes Benz and Smashbox during LA fashion Week. Walking in the show were “it” girls Paris and Nicky Hilton, Nicole Richie, Aimee Osbourne, and Taryn Manning. Sitting front row to support her were friends Britney Spears (who convinced her to do the line), Sharron and Ozzy Osbourne, and Jonathan Davis of the band Korn.
Tanya Tamburin grew up in New Jersey and spent summers in Croatia, so she has lived her life absorbing both New York and European culture. She was educated at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), NYC. She later spent years living and styling in Los Angeles for various celebrity clients, image consulting and personal shopping. Styling everywhere from screen to stage, her passion lies in collaborating and creating with like-minded people.
Tanya has two children, Trent and Jada. She’s a breast cancer survivor and lives her edgy, cool style every day. She is currently New York based, but also travels internationally.
